Sub-Agent

We are working with a well-established and forward-thinking construction specialist to assist them in hiring a Sub-Agent for their growing team in the East of Scotland. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business with a strong project pipeline and a reputation for delivering high-quality infrastructure and civil engineering works. As the Sub-Agent your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

* Supporting the delivery of civil engineering projects from planning through to completion
* Assisting with the management of site teams, subcontractors, and resources
* Ensuring works are carried out safely, on time, and within budget
* Contributing to programme planning and progress reporting
* Monitoring quality standards and ensuring compliance with specifications
* Assisting with commercial aspects including cost control and variations

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:

* Previous experience in a Sub-Agent or Section Engineer role within civil engineering
* Strong understanding of construction processes and health & safety regulations
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and support senior management
* Relevant engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent)
