Job Title: Customer Support Representative (CSR)
Location: Sidcup (preferred) – covering Ashford, Sittingbourne, Faversham and surrounding areas
Salary: £24,000 – £30,000
A well-established construction and maintenance contractor, with a strong reputation across London and the Southeast, is looking to appoint a Customer Support Representative (CSR) to join their growing team. This role offers a great opportunity to work within a supportive environment while playing a key part in delivering high-quality customer service on live projects.
The RoleThe Customer Support Representative will act as a key point of contact for residents during ongoing construction and refurbishment works. This is a varied position, combining both site-based and office-based responsibilities, requiring regular travel between multiple locations.
You will be responsible for maintaining clear communication with residents, ensuring they are informed, supported, and satisfied throughout the lifecycle of works.
Key Responsibilities
Acting as the main point of contact for residents, handling queries and concerns via phone, email, and face-to-face visits
Drafting correspondence regarding access, delays, changes to works, and general updates
Attending site meetings and resident engagement events (e.g. coffee mornings) alongside site teams
Building strong relationships with residents to support smooth project delivery
Managing and resolving complaints in a professional and timely manner
Collecting feedback and compiling KPI data at project completion
Supporting site and operational teams with general coordination and communicationRequirements
Strong customer service skills, ideally within housing, construction, or a similar environment
Candidates from a customer-facing background (e.g. retail or hospitality) looking to start a career in construction will also be considered
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to engage with people from a variety of backgrounds
Well organised with good time management skills
Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office and general systems)
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel dailyAdditional Information
Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (1-hour lunch break)
21 days annual leave bank holidays
DBS check provided by the employer
Candidates under 25 will be required to use their own vehicle (insurance purposes)
