Senior Utilities Surveyor

Location: Harpenden, St Albans (site visits required)

Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 (Commensurate with Experience) + Bonus

This would suit an experienced and ambitious Surveyor, someone confident delivering PAS128 utilities surveys, taking ownership on site and supporting junior surveyors while working with modern equipment and an experienced national team.

Office: Harpenden, St Albans

Hours: Full time, with flexibility for occasional night work and working away

Duties:

* Lead PAS128-compliant utility surveys from mobilisation through to handover

* Take responsibility for site safety, quality, delivery and survey approach

* Carry out underground service detection using EML and GPR

* Complete total station and GNSS observations

* Process survey data using AutoCAD and specialist software

* Support and mentor junior surveyors on live projects

Requirements:

* Minimum of 5 Years of experience as a Surveyor

* Strong experience delivering PAS128 utility surveys

* Confident using GPR, EML and TPS or GNSS equipment

* Good AutoCAD and survey data processing skills

* Able to work independently and manage site-based delivery

* Clear communication skills with clients and project teams

* Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK is essential

* Experience in confined spaces, sewer surveys, laser scanning or rail would be helpful, but is not essential
