About the Role
An experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor is required to support the commercial delivery of multiple MEP projects across London. The M&E Quantity Surveyor will take ownership of cost management, valuations and subcontractor accounts across live mechanical and electrical packages.
This M&E Quantity Surveyor position will suit someone confident managing both mechanical and electrical packages within a fast-paced contractor environment. The M&E Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for ensuring accurate cost reporting, variation management and commercial control from procurement through to final account. The M&E Quantity Surveyor will also work closely with project delivery teams to ensure commercial alignment with programme and site progress.
Key responsibilities:
* Management of M&E package cost control across live projects
* Preparation and submission of valuations and applications for payment
* Management of subcontractor accounts and payments
* Valuation and negotiation of variations and change orders
* Production of cost reports and CVRs
* Monitoring project budgets and forecasting final accounts
* Working closely with project managers and site teams
* Supporting procurement of specialist M&E subcontractors
* Ensuring compliance with contractual requirements (JCT/NEC as applicable)
* Assisting in final account negotiations and settlements
