CDM Principal Designer

A Multi-disciplinary Construction Consultancy are now seeking an CDM Principal Designer to work hybrid from their office in the London/Kent area. You will collaborate with an experienced CDM team as you manage design risk on their varied projects.

The CDM Principal Design team consists of multiple long-term employees, who work on both internal Architecturally led projects and external CDM projects. You will receive two different bonuses within this position.

The Role

The successful CDM Principal Designer will be involved in limiting major and all CDM related risk during the design stages. The role will require clear communication to ensure handover to Principal Contractor is as effective as possible.

The Person

The CDM Principal Designer suitable for this role will have at least 3 years within a CDM Principal Design / Design Risk Management role.

You will have a NEBOSH Construction or a relevant level 3 equivalent H&S / NEBOSH certificate.

A membership with IOSH (TechIOSH) or an APS (IMaPS) membership will be advantageous.
