Project Quantity Surveyor – Cambridge – £45,000-£55,000
A dynamic and expanding construction consultancy is seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor to join their Cambridge office. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Quantity Surveyor to develop their career within a respected consultancy delivering a range of residential, commercial and life sciences projects across Cambridgeshire. The successful Project Quantity Surveyor will gain exposure to high-quality schemes while working alongside experienced senior professionals.
The appointed Project Quantity Surveyor will support project delivery from inception through to completion, working closely with senior team members and clients. The Role
* Assisting with cost planning, budgeting and feasibility studies as a Project Quantity Surveyor
* Supporting procurement, tendering and contractor engagement
* Assisting with contract administration (primarily JCT)
* Monitoring project costs, variations and financial reporting
* Supporting valuations and final accounts as a Project Quantity Surveyor
* Working closely with clients and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery
* Collaborating with senior surveyors and contributing to project success
The Project Quantity Surveyor?
* Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
* Experience working as a Project Quantity Surveyor or Assistant Quantity Surveyor within the UK
* Understanding of JCT contracts and commercial processes
* Working towards MRICS (or keen to progress towards chartership)
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Proactive and eager to develop as a Project Quantity Surveyor
