An established and highly reputable civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their growing team. The Role
As Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of projects, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate and manage labour, plant, and materials on site
Lead site teams and maintain strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders
Ensure strict adherence to health & safety standards at all times
Monitor quality control and ensure works meet required specifications
Maintain accurate site records and electronic documentation
Manage programmes using MS Project and track progress against key milestones
Control costs through regular monitoring and reporting
Promote efficient working practices and minimise waste on site
Maintain a clean, organised, and professional site environment
About You
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Site Manager / Supervisor role within civil engineering
* Strong background in groundworks and general civils
* HNC / HND (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or related discipline
* Valid SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications
* Solid understanding of Health, Safety & Environmental standards
* Competent in MS Project, Excel, and digital site reporting systems
* Full UK driving licence
