Salary: £300 – £330 per day (Freelance)
Contract: Fixed Term (June 2026 – April 2027)

Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Site Manager to join a major industrial unit development in Norwich. This is a long-term freelance opportunity running from June 2026 through to April 2027, working on a significant new-build industrial scheme.

You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations, managing subcontractors, and ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme, and to a high standard of quality.

Working closely with the project team, you will play a key role in driving progress on site and maintaining strong communication between all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage day-to-day site operations and coordinate all subcontractors

* Ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to specification

* Maintain strict health & safety standards across the site

* Monitor progress against programme and report updates to the project team

* Oversee quality control and ensure compliance with project requirements

* Attend site meetings and liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Site Manager / Senior Site Manager on large-scale construction projects

* Strong background in industrial or logistics builds (preferred)

* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills

* Valid SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certification

* Ability to manage fast-paced site environments effectively
