Quantity Surveyor
A well‑established construction and property services company based in Liverpool is seeking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of a diverse portfolio of projects across the region.
The business operates across commercial construction, and property services related works, delivering high-quality solutions for a range of private and public sector clients
The Role
Full commercial management of projects from pre‑construction through to final account
Preparation of cost plans, budgets, forecasts and monthly reporting
Procurement and commercial management of subcontractor packages
Valuations, variations and change control
Final account preparation and negotiation
Working closely with project and site teams to drive commercial performance
Ensuring compliance with contractual and commercial requirements
The Candidate
Proven experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within construction or property services
Strong understanding of cost control, subcontractor management and reporting
JCT and NEC experience (NEC experience advantageous)
Commercially astute with a proactive approach
Confident communicator able to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
Degree‑qualified or equivalent industry experience preferred
This role would suit a QS looking for a long‑term position within a well‑run, privately owned construction and property services organisation offering exposure to varied and interesting projects
