Site Engineer

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a leading civil engineering contractor on a major earthworks project. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a large-scale scheme delivering drainage and associated civils works.

Site Engineer Roles & Responsibilities:

* Managing day-to-day engineering activities across earthworks and drainage works

* Carrying out all setting out duties for drainage and associated civils works using GPS and total station

* Ensuring works are delivered in line with programme, drawings, and technical specifications

* Overseeing QA/QC processes and maintaining accurate site records

* Completing and managing inspection and test plans (ITPs)

* Reviewing and managing site documentation including RAMS, permits, and QA records

Site Engineer Requirements:

* Previous experience as a Site Engineer on earthworks, drainage, or civils projects

* Strong setting out experience (GPS, total station essential)

* Proven experience with drainage and associated civils works

* Good understanding of QA/QC procedures and documentation

* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications

* Relevant qualification (HNC/HND/Degree in Civil Engineering or similar)

* Valid CSCS card

* SMSTS or SSSTS preferred
