Graduate Building Surveyor
A construction consultancy is seeking a Graduate Building Surveyor. The building surveyor will support building surveying delivery across a range of sectors. The building surveyor will work across residential, education, industrial and commercial schemes.

The building surveyor will join a multidisciplinary consultancy operating across the UK property and construction sectors. The building surveyor will support project delivery across building surveying, project management and design teams. The business delivers work across residential, education, commercial and industrial environments.
The Role
As the building surveyor you will support senior team members across a range of surveying instructions and project work.
The role will include:
* Supporting contract administration duties, including meetings, specifications and tender documentation
* Undertaking building surveys, condition surveys and recording site information
* Assisting with schedules of dilapidations and negotiations
* Supporting design and contract administration across residential and commercial schemes
* Assisting with defect analysis and reporting
* Supporting site inspections and progress reporting
* Working with multidisciplinary teams across multiple project stages
The Assistant Building Surveyor
You will be a motivated graduate with a clear interest in building surveying and progression within the profession. Applications must come from candidates with a construction-related degree.
The Assistant Building Surveyor must have:
* Minimum 2:2 degree in Building Surveying or related discipline
* Strong interest in building surveying and professional development
* Understanding of design, construction, maintenance and refurbishment
* Ability to produce clear written reports and documentation
* Strong communication skills and client-facing confidence
* Good organisation and time management skills
* Commitment to progressing through the APC process
