Project Quantity Surveyor

Project Quantity Surveyor | Regional Contractor | Yorkshire Projects | £55k – £65k + Package
We’re working with a well-established main contractor to appoint an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to take full commercial responsibility for projects across Yorkshire
This is a role for a commercially astute QS who can confidently run their own scheme, managing all financial aspects from pre-construction through to final account
You’ll have the autonomy to lead the commercial function on your project, with the backing of a strong leadership team and a secure pipeline of regional work
What You’ll Be Doing;
* Taking full commercial ownership of your assigned project
* Managing subcontract procurement, negotiation, and appointment
* Administering subcontract accounts, valuations, and variations
* Preparing and submitting client valuations and final accounts
* Managing cost reporting, forecasting, and CVRs
* Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities
* Ensuring contractual compliance and protecting commercial position
* Working closely with site and project teams to drive financial performance
What You Will Need;
* Proven experience operating as a Project QS, running your own schemes
* Strong knowledge of JCT contracts
* Commercially confident and capable of working independently
* Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
* Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management (or equivalent)
