WORKING ENVIRONMENT & PROJECTS

You will be working on technically complex high-voltage substation schemes, managing the full delivery lifecycle from initial design coordination through to commissioning and handover. These are significant projects in terms of both technical scope and commercial value, requiring close coordination across electrical engineering, civil works, procurement and health and safety functions.

The team you will be joining is experienced and technically strong, operating within a culture that values ownership, accountability and professional rigour. Based in Dublin, you will have regular engagement with clients, design consultants, subcontractors and statutory stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Lead the end-to-end delivery of 100kV and above substation projects from early design through to commissioning and client handover

* Manage project programmes, budgets, resource plans and procurement strategies to ensure delivery on time and within cost

* Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across electrical engineering, civil works, commissioning and H&S functions

* Act as the primary point of contact for clients and key stakeholders, maintaining strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle

* Oversee contract administration, risk management, change control and project reporting

* Ensure all works are executed in compliance with relevant safety standards, technical specifications and regulatory requirements

* Monitor project performance and implement corrective action plans where required

* Support and mentor junior project management staff within the wider delivery team

WHAT YOU NEED

* Proven track record as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager delivering high-voltage substation or electrical infrastructure projects

* Strong electrical engineering background — this is essential for the role

* Experience managing 100kV or above substation projects through the full project lifecycle

* Ability to manage complex multidisciplinary teams and multiple workstreams simultaneously

* Strong commercial awareness and experience managing project budgets and programmes at a senior level

* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across both technical and non-technical audiences

* Relevant engineering qualification and/or project management accreditation preferred
