Overview
We are working with a leading Tier 1 contractor who is looking to recruit a professional and organised Call Handler to join their team based in Walton-on-Thames. This is a fast-paced, customer-focused role, ideal for someone with strong administrative skills and a confident telephone manner.
Key Responsibilities
Answering incoming calls from tenants, clients, and internal teams in a professional and timely manner
Logging calls accurately onto internal systems and maintaining up-to-date records
Raising and scheduling jobs for maintenance and repairs
Liaising with operatives, subcontractors, and site teams to coordinate works
Providing updates to customers and ensuring a high level of customer service at all times
Managing email enquiries and supporting general administrative duties
Escalating urgent or complex issues where requiredRequirements
Previous experience in a call handling, customer service, or administrative role
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask
Good attention to detail and accuracy when inputting data
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Experience within construction, housing, or maintenance (desirable but not essential)What’s on Offer
