Quantity Surveyor

Involve Recruitment are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established construction business with a strong pipeline of commercial projects across Bristol, Cardiff and the wider South West & South Wales region.

The company delivers a range of commercial schemes including fit-out, refurbishment, and façade / cladding packages, alongside other specialist construction works. The role will require regular site visits across South England and Wales as part of project delivery and commercial management.

The Role

You will support the commercial delivery of projects from pre-construction through to final account, working closely with operational teams and senior commercial staff.

* Assisting with cost planning and commercial reporting

* Procurement and management of subcontract packages

* Valuations, variations and cost control

* Supporting contract administration (NEC / JCT)

* Liaising with site teams, clients and supply chain

* Attending regular site visits across South England and Wales

* Assisting with final account settlement

Requirements

* 3+ years’ Quantity Surveying experience

* Background in construction (contractor, subcontractor or consultancy considered)

* Experience across commercial, fit-out, cladding or refurbishment projects desirable

* Working knowledge of NEC or JCT contracts

* Strong communication and organisational skills
