Project Development Manager – Solar & BESS

ersg is searching for a Solar/BESS-focused Project Development Manager to join a global investor/developer of Renewable Energy assets. The client is well-capitalised, and are placing a strong focus on building their pipeline from greenfield opportunities to operational assets.

This role will see the successful candidate responsible for;

Overseeing the full project development lifecycle.
Identifying suitable sites, conducting feasibility studies, and securing land leases.
Working with key stakeholders to ensure compliance with local authority permitting processes, and grid connectivity processes.
Utilising their relationships with landowners and local partners to ensure smooth progression through the pipeline.
Identifying project budgets, and ensuring delivery of assets to a profitable status.There is a particular need from the client for a candidate with a strong understanding of the planning process for Utility-Scale Solar & BESS projects.
