Project: Facade Remediation – Basingstoke – £10M
Salary up to £80,000 + Mileage + 25 Days Holiday + Pension

Blaymires Recruitment is working with a well-established Principal Contractor specialising in façade remediation and external refurbishment, who is looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team.

With a strong pipeline of secured projects in the Basingstoke area, ranging in value from £5M-15M, they have built an excellent reputation for delivering rainscreen cladding replacement, fire remediation, and external envelope works across the South.

The Opportunity
The company is exceptionally busy and is looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to be site-based on a £10M façade remediation scheme in Basingstoke. The company will consider an established Senior Quantity Surveyor or a motivated Quantity Surveyor looking to take a step up in responsibility.

The Role of the Senior Quantity Surveyor:

* Responsible for the financial control of projects valued from £5M to £20M.

* Working with JCT contracts.

* Applications for payment in accordance with contract terms and conditions.

* Production of monthly cost reports and forecasting.

* Preparation of delay notices in accordance with contract terms.

* Processing monthly subcontractor payments.

* Picking up and valuing variations.

* Settling final accounts with main contractors.

* Site measures.

Requirements of the Senior Quantity Surveyor:

* Main contracting, High-rise Residential or previous experience with Facades.

* Previous experience working with JCT and/or NEC contracts.

* Minimum of 5 years Quantity Surveying experience.
