Job Title: Solar PV & Battery Storage Installer
Location: Midlands (primarily Staffordshire) with occasional nationwide travel
Salary: £40,000 – £55,000 (depending on experience)

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Solar PV & Battery Storage Installer to join our growing team. This role is primarily based in Staffordshire and the wider Midlands area, with occasional projects across the UK.

You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and commissioning of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems and battery storage solutions for residential and commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities

* Install solar PV systems and battery storage units to a high standard

* Carry out electrical wiring, testing, and commissioning

* Ensure all work complies with current regulations and safety standards

* Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team

* Complete installation reports and documentation accurately

* Provide excellent customer service on-site

Requirements

* Proven experience installing solar PV systems (battery experience preferred)

* Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition)

* Experience with testing and inspection

* Full UK driving licence

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

* Willingness to travel occasionally for nationwide projects

Desirable

* MCS accreditation or experience working on MCS-certified systems

* Experience with leading inverter and battery brands

* IPAF, PASMA, or working-at-height certifications
