Civils Supervisor

Site Supervisor (SSSTS / CSCS) – Water Treatment Upgrade Scheme
Location: Birmingham
Duration: 6+ months
Rate: £300 per day

We are currently seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join a major water treatment upgrade scheme based in the Birmingham area. This is a long-term contract opportunity (6 months+) with a highly competitive day rate. This is also a fantastic opportunity to work with a well-respected and growing main contractor that have a fantastic pipleine of work in the region.

Key Requirements:

* Valid SSSTS and CSCS certification (essential)

* Proven experience working on water treatment or utilities infrastructure projects

* Strong track record on schemes for Severn Trent Water (highly desirable)

* Background in M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) works

* Demonstrated ability to manage and coordinate subcontractors on site

Responsibilities:

* Overseeing day-to-day site operations and ensuring works are delivered safely and efficiently

* Managing subcontractors and ensuring adherence to programme and quality standards

* Preparing and delivering RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements)

* Coordinating and booking in works, materials, and resources

* Maintaining an active on-site presence, driving progress and resolving issues in real time

* Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards

Ideal Candidate:

* Hands-on, proactive supervisor who leads from the front

* Strong communicator with excellent organisational skills

* Experience working in live or regulated environments within the water sector
