Senior Civil Engineer

The Opportunity
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Civil Engineer to join a well-established engineering consultancy, playing a key role in delivering high-quality civil infrastructure solutions across major projects, including work within the nuclear and defence sectors.

Your duties and responsibilities will be
Take technical responsibility for the delivery of civil infrastructure design packages from concept through to detailed design
Coordinate and guide small design teams, contributing to multidisciplinary project delivery
Produce, check and approve engineering calculations, drawings and digital models
Review third-party and subcontractor design outputs to ensure technical compliance and quality
Provide technical input into bids, fee proposals and project documentation while offering mentorship to junior staffYou will have the following qualifications and experience
A degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, with Chartered or near-Chartered status through ICE or a similar institution
Proven experience in drainage, earthworks, SUDS, pavements and utility design for UK projects
Strong working knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD within a design consultancy environment
Sound understanding of UK standards and approvals processes, including S38, S278 and S104
Eligibility to obtain UK Security Clearance to work on sensitive nuclear or defence-related projectsGet in touch now
