Site Manager

Site Manager – £60K – £65K + Package – Cardiff

We are working with one of the region’s leading contractors, who have experienced unprecedented growth and continue to secure a strong pipeline of future work.

As part of this growth, they are delivering a £10m refurbishment of a 110-bed student accommodation scheme in Cardiff. With the project due to commence imminently and running over a 16-month programme, they are seeking an experienced Site Manager to take full responsibility for delivery. Reporting to a roaming Contracts Manager, you will lead the project from inception through to completion, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage day-to-day site operations on a major refurbishment project

* Lead site teams and coordinate subcontractors

* Ensure works are delivered to programme, budget, and quality expectations

* Maintain high standards of health, safety, and compliance on site

* Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders

* Monitor progress and provide regular reporting

* Drive programme and resolve any on-site challenges

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Site Manager on refurbishment or residential projects

* Experience delivering projects of similar value (£5m+)

* Strong leadership and organisational skills

* Excellent knowledge of health & safety regulations

* Ability to manage programmes and subcontractor performance

* SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications
