Senior Quantity Surveyor

I’m working with a leading main contractor who is looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing London team, based out of their Blackfriars office.

This Senior Quantity Surveyor role has come about due to a strong pipeline of secured work across residential, commercial and healthcare projects. The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will take ownership of key packages and play a key role in the commercial delivery of projects.

This is a good opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor who wants to be involved in major London schemes while working within a well-structured commercial team.

Duties:

* Take commercial ownership as Senior Quantity Surveyor on live projects

* Manage subcontractor packages from procurement through to final account

* Prepare and manage valuations, variations and final accounts

* Produce forecasts, CVRs and cost reports

* Work closely with Project Managers and site teams

* Support and mentor junior commercial staff

* Contribute to value engineering and commercial strategy

Requirements:

* Experience working as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or strong Quantity Surveyor stepping up

* Background with a main contractor or large subcontractor

* Experience delivering residential, commercial or healthcare projects

* Strong understanding of subcontractor management and final accounts

* Confident working on live projects and engaging with site teams

* Good commercial awareness and reporting experience
