Quantity Surveyor

I’m working with a leading main contractor who is looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to join their growing London team, based out of their Central London office.
This Quantity Surveyor role has come about due to a strong pipeline of secured work across residential, commercial and healthcare projects. The successful Quantity Surveyor will support the commercial team while also taking responsibility for key packages on live projects.
This is a good opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor who is looking to step up and gain more exposure on larger schemes.
Duties:
* Support the commercial team as a Quantity Surveyor on live projects
* Manage subcontractor packages from procurement through to final account
* Assist with valuations, variations and final accounts
* Maintain site records and commercial documentation
* Support with CVRs, forecasts and cost reporting
* Work closely with site teams and Project Managers
* Assist in value engineering and cost control
Requirements:
* Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor or Assistant Quantity Surveyor stepping up
* Background with a main contractor or large subcontractor
* Experience on residential, commercial or healthcare projects
* Good understanding of subcontractor management
* Confident working on site and supporting live projects
* Strong organisational and communication skills
