Document Controller / Design Coordinator
📍 Midlands (Birmingham – Leicestershire projects)

We are working with a well-established Midlands-based contractor who are looking to appoint a Document Controller / Design Coordinator to support their growing pipeline of high-rise residential and Build-to-Rent projects.
This is a regional role, supporting multiple schemes across Birmingham and Leicestershire, working closely with the Design Manager and wider project teams. Your week would be spread between multiple sites, with opportunities to work from home.
The Role:
* Managing and controlling project documentation across multiple live sites
* Supporting the Design Manager with design coordination duties
* Uploading, tracking and distributing drawings and technical information via Fieldview
* Ensuring all documentation is up to date, compliant and aligned with project requirements
* Coordinating with consultants, subcontractors and internal teams
* Assisting with RFIs, design queries and document workflows
* Maintaining accurate records and supporting project handover documentation
About You:
* Previous experience as a Document Controller or Design Coordinator within construction
* Experience working on residential, high-rise or BTR schemes is highly desirable
* Familiar with document management systems (Fieldview experience preferred)
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Confident communicator, able to liaise with multiple stakeholders
