Project Manager

A well-established UK Main Contractor with an annual turnover of circa £600m is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team on a major upcoming scheme. The business has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality residential and mixed-use developments across the UK and maintains a healthy pipeline of secured work.

You will lead the delivery of a £100m+ RC frame Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) development consisting of circa 500 units. The project is due to commence shortly and will be delivered over multiple phases.

You will report directly to an experienced Project Director and will be responsible for managing the project from early construction through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

* Full responsibility for the successful delivery of the project on time and within budget

* Managing site teams including Site Managers, Engineers, and subcontractors

* Working closely with the Project Director and commercial team

* Overseeing programme management and construction sequencing

* Ensuring health & safety standards are maintained at all times

* Managing subcontractor performance and coordination

* Liaising with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders

* Driving quality and programme delivery across the scheme

Requirements

* Proven experience as a Project Manager for a Main Contractor

* Strong track record delivering large RC frame residential or PBSA schemes

* Experience managing projects valued £50m+

* Ability to lead and manage large site teams

* Strong technical and programme management skills

* Excellent stakeholder and client management abilities
