Business Development Manager

Invision recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a tier one Construction Main Contractor who are looking to recruit a BD Manager for their London and SE Region.

We are looking for a career focused individual who can make a significant impact on securing landmark construction projects. As a BD Manager you will have a proven track record in the UK construction marketplace. Their focus is on specific sectors i.e. Residential, Commercial, Student Accommodation and Education. They are seeking a self-motivated professional to join our team and drive growth in large-scale projects.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct market analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities

* Generating suitable business opportunities in line with the business strategy

* Identify and develop new business opportunities within the UK construction sector

* Build and maintain strong client and key stakeholders’ relationships

* Develop winning strategies to secure contracts and expand our project portfolio

* Support the bid management process as required

* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure project delivery aligns with client expectations

Skills and Experience

* Extensive experience in business development within the UK construction industry

* Demonstrable background working for a Main Contractor in similar roles

* Proven experience and relationships with key Development organisations with an extensive network of contacts across varied sectors

* Strong understanding of bid management processes for large-scale construction projects

* Proven ability to win projects valued at £70 million or above.

* Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills

* Strategic thinker with a results-driven approach
