Overview We are currently recruiting for a Commercial Development Manager to join a growing consultancy specialising in decarbonisation, retrofit and engineering services based in the North West.
This role will take ownership of developing and securing public sector contracts, playing a key role in driving business growth across construction, M&E and energy projects.
Responsibilities
Develop and deliver business development strategy targeting public sector clients
Build and maintain relationships with key decision makers
Identify and secure new opportunities across frameworks and direct awards
Manage pipeline, KPIs and sales forecasting
Support bid submissions and tender processes
Track opportunities and maintain CRM systems
Provide regular reporting on activity and performanceRequirements
Proven track record in securing public sector contracts
Strong network within local authorities, NHS, education or housing
Background in construction, building services or energy sector
Experience managing sales pipelines and bid processes
