Architects – Sports & Infrastructure
Morson Edge are working with a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy to recruit Architects to support a growing portfolio of sports and large-scale infrastructure projects.
Due to increased workload within their specialist sports team, they are looking to appoint multiple architects to support delivery across RIBA Stages 3-4, working on high-profile stadium and associated development schemes.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established, collaborative team with a strong pipeline of work and potential for long-term engagement or permanent transition.
The Opportunity
We are looking to speak with Architects with experience in one or more of the following areas:
Sports / Stadium Architecture
Structural coordination and core design (e.g. stair cores)
Internal packages, including large-scale wall or fit-out packages
You will be involved in the technical delivery of complex projects, taking ownership of packages and supporting coordination across multidisciplinary teams.
Role Overview
You will contribute to the design and delivery of major projects, ensuring technical quality, coordination and compliance with project standards.
The role offers the opportunity to take ownership of work packages, collaborate with engineers and consultants, and support the delivery of high-quality, technically robust design solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver architectural design across RIBA Stages 3-4
Take ownership of specific work packages (core, internal packages or wider building elements)
Coordinate closely with structural and MEP teams
Produce and review technical drawings and documentation
Ensure compliance with relevant standards and project requirements
Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team environment
Support programme delivery through a proactive, solution-focused approach
Essential Skills & Experience
Qualified Architect (ARB registered or equivalent)
Proven experience delivering projects at RIBA Stages 3-4
Experience working on complex or large-scale projects
Strong technical detailing and coordination skills
Ability to manage packages and work independently
Experience working within multidisciplinary consultancy teams
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Desirable
Experience within sports or stadium projects
Experience coordinating structural elements or internal packages
Exposure to large, fast-paced project environments
What's on Offer
Up to £45 per hour (Inside IR35)
6-month contract with strong likelihood of extension (up to 12 months+)
Potential to transition into a permanent role
Hybrid working (1 day in office / 4 days remote)
