Pre-Contracts Manager

£80,000 – £90,000 | Permanent | Central London

We’re working with a leading design & build contractor delivering high-end commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects across Central London and the UK.

They’re looking for a sharp Pre-Contracts Manager to take full ownership of tendering, pricing strategy, and pre-construction delivery — shaping projects from day one and driving commercial success.

This is a high-impact role where you’ll work closely with design and delivery teams, influence key decisions early, and play a major part in winning and shaping projects.

You’ll be:

Leading pricing strategy across competitive tenders
Working with design teams on buildable, cost-effective solutions
Managing subcontractor relationships and pricing
Producing tenders, programmes, and cost plans
Reviewing contracts and managing commercial risk
Driving adjudication and handover processesYou’ll need:

Strong pre-construction / estimating / commercial background
D&B experience (fit-out / refurbishment preferred)
Knowledge of JCT, NEC, two-stage tendering
Strong commercial instinct and attention to detail
Ability to influence design and drive value engineering£75K–£95K + strong projects + real influence from day one.
