Quantity Surveyor

Fawkes and Reece are now assisting in the search for a Quantity Surveyor to join a super prime residential contractor in Basingstoke. The contractor is one which specialises in the new build/extension of bespoke homes and refurbishment of listed buildings valuing from £20mil – £100mil.

About the role of Quantity Surveyor:

As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for either managing your own smaller scale project or working within the commercial team on larger scale schemes.

Key Responsibilities as Quantity Surveyor:

Take projects from Estimator handover
Manage sub-contract procurement
Manage sub-contractors accounts on site, dealing with variations
Manage monthly valuations and liaise with the client
Deal with final accounts

Key Requirements for this Quantity Surveyor role:

Proven track record working with reputable main contractors
Experience managing a project as commercial lead on site
Experience working on super prime residential schemes is beneficial but not essential
Have the full right to work in the UK and live within a commutable distance to Basingstoke
