H&S Advisor

We are seeking an experienced Freelance Health & Safety Advisor to support our growing portfolio of civil engineering and infrastructure projects. This role will play a key part in ensuring compliance with UK health & safety legislation while promoting a strong safety culture across multiple sites.

You’ll work closely with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors to maintain high safety standards in a fast-paced, high-risk environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide expert H&S advice across civils and infrastructure projects

* Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments

* Ensure compliance with relevant legislation (e.g. CDM Regulations)

* Review and develop RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements)

* Investigate incidents and produce detailed reports

* Deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings

* Support continuous improvement of H&S systems and processes

* Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies

Requirements

* Proven experience in a Health & Safety role within civil engineering or infrastructure

* Strong knowledge of UK H&S legislation and CDM regulations

Pay is (Apply online only) per day outside IR35 for 3 months.
