Site Engineer

We are currently looking for an experienced Site Engineer to join a busy S278 works package in Leeds. This is a great opportunity to secure a solid 8-month contract on a well-run infrastructure scheme.

Key Responsibilities:

* Setting out for S278 works including highways improvements, kerbing, drainage, and road construction

* Ensuring all works are delivered in accordance with design drawings and specifications

* Conducting QA checks and maintaining accurate site records

* Liaising with site management, subcontractors, and local authorities

* Producing and reviewing RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements)

* Managing as-built surveys and ensuring documentation is up to date

* Assisting with daily site operations to keep works on programme

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Site Engineer on S278 or highways schemes

* Strong setting out skills (GPS, Total Station)

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

* Valid CSCS card

* Relevant engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent)

* Strong communication and organisational skills

Desirable:

* Previous experience working with local authorities on S278 agreements

* Knowledge of QA procedures and site documentation

* SMSTS or SSSTS (beneficial)
