Quantity Surveyor – Main Contractor
Location: Chatham (Office-Based) | Projects across London & the South East
Salary: £40,000 – £60,000 + Package
 
We are working in partnership with a well-established and growing main contractor to recruit a talented Quantity Surveyor to join their team based out of their Chatham office. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic business delivering a diverse range of projects across London and the South East.
 
Our client specialises in high-quality construction schemes, with a strong pipeline of work spanning fit out, refurbishment, and cut & carve projects. They are seeking an ambitious and commercially astute Quantity Surveyor who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
 
Key Responsibilities:

Managing project costs from inception through to final account
Preparing and reviewing subcontractor packages and procurement schedules
Valuations, variations, and cost reporting
Liaising with project teams, clients, and subcontractors
Ensuring projects are delivered within budget and in line with commercial targets Requirements:

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a main contractor environment
Experience in fit out, refurbishment, or cut & carve projects is highly desirable
Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
Relevant construction qualification (HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent) What's on Offer:
