Quantity Surveyor (QS) – Fitout Projects

I’m currently recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established and highly regarded hospitality fitout specialist. This is a great opportunity to work on high-quality interior projects across bars, restaurants, retail, and stadia environments.

This role is ideal for someone with a solid background in fitout who enjoys taking ownership of project finances and contributing to successful project delivery from start to finish.

The Role:
As Quantity Surveyor, you’ll play a key role in managing the commercial aspects of multiple fitout projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

* Preparing detailed cost estimates and managing project budgets

* Monitoring project expenditure and carrying out cost analysis

* Administering contracts, including variations and change orders

* Procuring subcontractors and suppliers, including tender preparation and evaluation

* Producing cost reports, forecasts, and managing cash flow

* Ensuring timely and accurate invoicing

* Identifying and mitigating commercial risks

* Liaising with project managers, clients, and design teams

* Attending site meetings and providing financial updates

* Maintaining accurate documentation and assisting with final accounts

About You:

* Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related field

* Minimum 3 years’ experience in a QS role within the fitout sector

* Strong knowledge of contracts, procurement, and cost control

* Confident communicator with good negotiation skills

* Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects

* Professional, proactive, and commercially aware

* RICS (or similar) membership is beneficial but not essential
