Marine / Sea Defence Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced Marine / Sea Defence Project Manager to join an urgent, short-term coastal protection project. This role will focus on the delivery of seawall and groyne construction works in a fast-paced environment.

Project Details:

Start Date: May / June 2026
Duration: 4-6 months
Location: Caribbean
Scope: Seawall and groyne construction

Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical expertise in marine and coastal engineering
Oversee construction activities related to seawalls and groynes
Ensure compliance with design specifications, health & safety standards, and environmental regulations
Coordinate closely with project managers, contractors, and on-site teams
Carry out site inspections and address technical issues as they arise

Requirements:

Demonstrable experience delivering marine or coastal engineering projects
Strong understanding of seawall, groyne, or similar coastal defence structures
Relevant engineering qualification (Civil, Marine, or equivalent)
Ability to mobilise quickly and commit to a short-term assignment
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Desirable:

Chartered Engineer status (or equivalent)
Experience working on fast-track or short-term projects
Immediate availability
