The Opportunity
Hill McGlynn is currently recruiting for a Trainee Site Manager on behalf of a reputable main contractor delivering projects across Medway, Kent and London. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their construction career, gaining hands-on experience across a variety of fit out, refurbishment, and cut & carve projects.
 
You will work closely with experienced Site Managers and project teams, developing your skills while contributing to the successful delivery of projects.
 
Key Responsibilities

Assist the Site Manager with the day-to-day running of construction sites
Support coordination of subcontractors and site activities
Monitor health & safety compliance and site standards
Help ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
Maintain site records, reports, and documentation
Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams About You

Previous experience within the construction industry (site-based experience preferred)
Exposure to fit out, refurbishment, or cut & carve projects is advantageous
Must hold relevant, in-date site tickets (e.g. CSCS, SMSTS/SSSTS or equivalent)
Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn and progress
Good communication and organisational skills
Must be based within a commutable distance to Medway and London What's on Offer

Salary up to £40,000 depending on experience
