Site Manager – Internals (Residential Development)
Location: Eddington, Cambridge (CB3)

We are exclusively partnered with a bespoke, privately owned developer based in Hertfordshire to recruit a Site Manager to lead the internal fit-out on a flagship residential scheme in Eddington, Cambridge.

The Project
A 170-unit residential development comprising a mix of traditional houses and low-rise apartment blocks. With superstructures complete on phase one, the project is moving into the internal fit-out stage, including mechanical and electrical installations and finishing works.

The Role
Reporting to the Project Director, you will take full ownership of the internals, managing trades from first fix through to final handover.

Key Responsibilities

* Oversee all internal fit-out activities across multiple units

* Manage and coordinate subcontractors (M&E, drylining, carpentry, finishing trades)

* Ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard

* Drive programme and quality through to completion and handover

* Liaise with senior management and site teams to ensure smooth delivery

Requirements

* Proven experience as a Site Manager on residential developments

* Strong background in internal fit-out (first fix to handover)

* Excellent organisational and communication skills

* Ability to manage multiple trades and maintain programme targets

* SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid (essential)
