Document Controller
A loyal client to Sphere are looking to appoint a Document Controller with immediate effect.
Your new company are an established regional Main Contractor, operating within Commercial New Build, Refurbishment / Fit Out / Cut & Carve, Cladding / Facade, and Residential. Project values are typically up to £30M.
My client are looking for a candidate capable of Assisting the current Senior Document Controller, by administrating the Document Control process of 2-3 projects, whilst also operating out of the Bristol Office.
Duties:
* Carry out routine document control activities on various projects, including QA checks, RFIs, workflows management and transmittals to contractors.
* Ensure designers and contractors are publishing documents in accordance with the protocols and QA rejected files are revised and resubmitted in a timely manner.
* Ensure all project documentation is processed, transmitted and/or filed within the EDMS and always up to date.
* Assist both internal and external members of the project with EDMS, reporting, processes and other queries.
* Prepare weekly Asite Status Report and distribute to the project team, Head of Document Control and Design Manager.
* Run reports to show overdue actions and outstanding tasks as part of the weekly reporting process and distribute to the relevant parties for action.
* Distribute approved design information to the contractors as per project distribution matrix.
* Create new projects on the EDMS as per agreed template.
* Produce project specific Information Management Plan using the company template.
* Ensure Office consumables maintained and ordered in good time
* Be the focal point for event organization and control of resources (Topping out/groundbreaking/Completion ceremonies).
* Supporting Senior Management in event organization and tracking and controlling all necessary orders and information
* Issue out and Control any necessary Purchase orders for overhead and consumable orders
