Salary: £28-35,000

A forward-thinking, design-focused architectural practice is seeking to appoint an Architectural Technician to join their growing team in Southampton. The studio has built a strong reputation for delivering successful projects in collaboration with leading national house builders and continues to maintain a healthy pipeline of residential developments. This is an excellent opportunity to join an expanding, ambitious team committed to delivering high-quality housing schemes.

The role of Architectural Technician will involve:

* Producing accurate and detailed technical drawings for large-scale residential developments
* Collaborating closely with architects, planners, consultants and clients to ensure design intent is achieved alongside regulatory compliance
* Ensuring all work aligns with UK Building Regulations and NHBC Standards
* Providing guidance and support to junior members of the technical team
* Attending client and project meetings and contributing effectively to discussions

The successful Architectural Technician will have:

* A degree or HNC/HND in Architectural Technology or a related subject
* Demonstrable experience working with UK national house builders
* Strong technical ability with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
* Solid understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction standards
* Ability to independently manage workload across multiple live projects
* Strong communication skills and a team-focused approach
