The Role
Due to continued growth, the business is looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a background in interior fit-out or subcontracting. This is a key commercial role, managing costs across multiple projects while working closely with operational teams to ensure profitability and efficiency.
As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for:
Managing the commercial aspects of multiple interior fit-out projects
Preparing and submitting valuations, variations, and final accounts
Cost control and forecasting to ensure projects remain within budget
Subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and account management
Reviewing and negotiating contracts and terms
Liaising with clients, site teams, and senior management
Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities
Ensuring all commercial processes align with company procedures
The Ideal Candidate
The successful Quantity Surveyor will have:
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction
A background in interior fit-out, drylining, or subcontracting is essential
Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
A proactive and detail-oriented approach
Relevant qualifications (HNC/HND/Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar preferred)
