Payroll Clerk
Job Overview
We are working with a leading diagnostics provider to recruit a Payroll Clerk to support the delivery of accurate and timely payroll operations. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organisation during an exciting period of change, playing a key role in the implementation of a new payroll system.
The successful candidate will work closely with the wider payroll team throughout the rollout of Sage Payroll, helping to ensure data accuracy, compliance, and the smooth running of day-to-day payroll activities. Experience gained within a manufacturing or similar fast-paced environment would be highly beneficial.
This is a varied position that will also involve providing flexible administrative support to ensure the overall effectiveness of the payroll function.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Supporting end-to-end payroll processing to ensure accuracy and timeliness
* Assisting with the implementation and optimisation of Sage Payroll
* Maintaining and validating payroll data to ensure integrity and compliance
* Responding to payroll queries from employees in a professional and timely manner
* Supporting statutory reporting and ensuring adherence to relevant legislation
* Assisting with payroll reconciliations and audits
* Providing general administrative support to the payroll and finance teams
* Contributing to process improvements and efficiencies within the payroll function
