Architect Technician

Fawkes & Reece are currently working with a Cardiff-based client seeking an experienced Architectural Technician to join their growing practice on a permanent basis.

This established practice is dedicated to delivering exceptional quality of service across the UK, with a strong focus on London and the South West. Their core work includes conversions, extensions, renovations, and new-build design, and due to continued success and a strong pipeline of projects into 2026, they are now looking to expand their team.

The Role
As an Architectural Technician, you will:
• Work predominantly on residential projects
• Conduct measured surveys and lead client design sessions
• Confidently meet clients face-to-face and present detailed design packages
• Prepare and submit planning applications
• Liaise with consultants and contractors throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements
• Minimum 3 years’ experience working on residential and commercial projects
• Ability to work independently and hit the ground running
• Strong communication and client-facing skills
• Proactive approach with the confidence to take initiative

Benefits
• Salary: £30,000 – £35,000
