About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intermediate M&E Quantity Surveyor to join our growing commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for a degree-qualified professional with at least 2 years’ experience in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) quantity surveying to develop their career within a dynamic and supportive environment.
You will play a key role in the financial management of projects, ensuring cost efficiency, value, and compliance across a diverse portfolio of works. Projects may span commercial, residential, and infrastructure sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and tender documentation
Manage and track project costs, valuations, and variations
Support procurement processes, including subcontractor selection and negotiation
Prepare interim valuations and final accounts
Monitor project progress against financial targets and report on cost performance
Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure successful project delivery
Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and company procedures
Requirements
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related field
Minimum 2 years’ experience in an M&E Quantity Surveying role
Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial processes
Excellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in relevant software and Microsoft Office applications
