Rate: £32 per hour

Role Overview:
We are currently looking for an experienced Civil Chargehand to join works on a live National Grid 400kV substation project at Pembroke. This is a key supervisory role requiring strong experience working within high-voltage environments and strict adherence to National Grid safety procedures.
Requirements:
Essential:
Competent Person (NSI 6 & 8 Full)
HSG47 (CAT 1 & CAT 2)
Experience working on live HV substations
Strong understanding of substation access control & safety compliance
Manual Handling
Full PPE (required prior to site access)Key Responsibilities:
Managing safe access and egress within a live HV substation environment
Overseeing delivery vehicles and plant movement on site
Ensuring compliance with National Grid NSI Safety Rules
Supervising and supporting groundworks activities in line with project scope
Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and site disciplinePlease do not apply if you do not hold the required National Grid competencies and tickets. These are mandatory for site access and cannot be overlooked.
