I've been tasked to find a Site Manager for a very busy main contractor on a freelance basis, the projects are coming thick and fast so once a project is complete you will move straight to another.

The projects are all in the public sector and they're all refurbishments of schools, courts, prisons and hospitals. The first project is a £250k fit out of a Cath Lab replacement in Maidstone to start immediately.

You'll be reporting to an visiting Contracts Manager and they will expect weekly progress reports.

Requirements for Site Manager:

SMSTS
CSCS
First Aid at WorkKey Responsibilities:

Managing projects from start to finish
Coordinating subcontractors.
All aspects of health & safety compliance
Liaising with clients, landlords, and stakeholders
Ensuring all works comply with building regulations and CDM requirements
Overseeing snagging and handover of completed unitsExperience required:

Proven experience as a Site Manager (number 1)
Background in public sector refurbishments.
Comfortable running projects in the £100k-£2.5m range
Strong organisational and communication skills
Good understanding of subcontractor management
SMSTS, CSCS, and First AidWhat is being offered:
