Project Manager

We are currently looking for a Project Manager for immediate start on a substation build project as part of a large-scale data centre project in Austria.
Ideal candidate will have strong civils experience and exposure to FRC, groundworks and drainage. Excellent long-term opportunities with this well-established contractor with upcoming work in 3 other European countries.
Responsibilities:
* Infrastructure Delivery: Lead all civil work streams, including site clearance, bulk earthworks, access roads, and drainage systems.
* Structural Mastery: Oversee the construction of high-tolerance reinforced concrete foundations and plinths for transformers, switchgear, and gantries.
* Technical Oversight: Manage temporary works, slope stabilization (critical for Alpine sites), and the installation of complex cable trenching/ducting.
* Commercial Control: Full P&L responsibility under FIDIC/NEC contracts, managing subcontractors and ensuring rigorous cost control in a remote environment.
* Client/Company meetings: Keep all relevant parties updated on site progress through meetings with both client and contractor.
* Safety & Quality: Driving "Right First Time" quality on deep foundations where there is zero margin for error once the HV equipment arrives.
Experience/qualifications:
* Heavy Civils Background: Proven track record in large-scale civil engineering projects (Power, Renewables, or Heavy Industrial).
* Substation/Power Experience: Specific experience in civil works for Substations (132kV+) or similar high-value energy assets.
* Terrain Management: Experience with challenging ground conditions, piling, or mountainous topography is highly desirable.
* Mobility: Ready for a rotational assignment. Must be an EU passport holder or have right to work in Europe. English is project language but German would be a great asset.
* Qualifications: Chartered Civil Engineer (MICE) preferred; Degree in Civil Engineering is essential.
