Estimator

I’m currently supporting a client with the search for an Estimator or Assistant Estimator to join their busy team in a role that sits at the centre of their operations.

This is a permanent role based in Dorset and would suit someone with a successful track record in a similar position, or someone with the right technical and commercial expertise to step into the role, ideally from a QS background.

The right person will be able to:

* Carry out detailed take-offs from plans and specifications

* Work to fixed, and sometimes fast, timescales

* Liaise with subcontractors and the supply chain to obtain the best prices

* Liaise with clients and the design team

* Represent the business in a professional manner and build strong working relationships

My client is looking for someone who is organised, commercially aware, detail-focused, and confident working in a fast-paced environment.
