Senior Planner – Greater Manchester

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Planner to support the delivery of civil engineering projects ranging from £200k to £10m+. You will be responsible for developing and managing detailed project programmes, driving efficiency, and ensuring successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and maintain detailed, resource-loaded project plans

* Support tender, pre-construction, and live project phases

* Identify risks, opportunities, and critical path impacts

* Monitor progress and update programmes and reports

* Advise delivery teams on planning changes and mitigation strategies

* Attend site visits and progress meetings

* Integrate subcontractor programmes

* Produce reports, lookaheads, and programme submissions

* Support 4D planning and impact analysis

Requirements

* Advanced Primavera P6 experience

* Strong knowledge of NEC contracts

* Experience leading collaborative planning processes

* Ability to interpret technical drawings

* Strong communication and organisational skills

* Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Desirable:

* Oracle Primavera Cloud (OPC) experience

* Site-based project experience

* Relevant degree (Civil Engineering/Construction)
