Commercial Fit‑Out Projects – London

A reputable commercial fit‑out contractor is seeking an experienced Freelance Health & Safety Manager to cover multiple live projects across London.

The role will involve managing H&S across several sites at any one time, working closely with Project Managers and Site Managers to ensure full compliance and best practice.

Responsibilities:

* Oversee Health & Safety across multiple commercial fit‑out sites

* Carry out regular site inspections, audits, and toolbox talks

* Ensure compliance with UK H&S legislation and CDM Regulations

* Review and approve RAMS

* Provide practical H&S support and guidance to site teams

* Investigate incidents and near misses, producing reports where required

* Liaise with clients, principal contractors

* Maintain accurate H&S records and reporting

Requirements:

* Proven freelance experience within commercial fit‑out / interiors

* NEBOSH Construction Certificate (minimum)

* Strong knowledge of CDM and UK Health & Safety legislation

* Experience managing multiple sites concurrently

* Confident, proactive, and site‑focused approach

* CSCS (essential)

* SMSTS (preferred)
