Commissioning Manager

Project Commissioning Manager (MEP / Building Services Engineering) London (site-based / hybrid depending on project). An established and forward-thinking engineering organisation is seeking an experienced Project Commissioning Manager to join its London-based team, delivering high-profile MEP / building services projects.

This is a key role responsible for ensuring a structured, auditable, and fully compliant commissioning process, guaranteeing that all installed systems perform in line with design intent and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities,

* Lead and manage commissioning activities in line with the project master programme

* Take full ownership of on-site commissioning delivery and quality

* Ensure commissioning procedures are developed, submitted, and approved by clients

* Oversee witnessing, testing, and successful close-out of commissioning phases

* Act as a key interface with client representatives and project stakeholders

* Coordinate with specialist commissioning contractors and subcontractors

* Develop and maintain Safe Systems of Work, including risk assessments and method statements

* Ensure all pre-commissioning checks, documentation, and reporting are completed to a high standard

What you’ll need to succeed,

* Proven experience leading commissioning activities on MEP / building services projects

* Strong technical background within mechanical and/or electrical building services

* Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams

* Confident working in a client-facing environment with strong communication skills

* Detail-oriented with a structured and proactive approach to project delivery
